03Whole-body movement

Looking beyond the complaint to understand the connections throughout the body.

The idea behind Pulse & Motion

The body communicates.
Astrid listens.

Pulse represents a heart for animals and Astrid’s dedication. Motion refers to the freedom of movement that lies at the heart of osteopathy.

A change in movement, posture or behaviour can have several causes. That is why the animal is assessed as a whole, with attention to the musculoskeletal, visceral and craniosacral systems.

More about Astrid

Astrid’s approach

Calm. Thorough.
With a whole-body view.

Every appointment starts with what your animal needs at that moment.

Step 1

Listen

We discuss your animal’s history, workload and the changes you have noticed.

Step 2

Observe & assess

Astrid observes posture and movement and manually assesses the body as a whole.

Step 3

Treat & advise

Targeted techniques are followed by reassessment and advice on recovery or training.

“The most rewarding part is listening to what an animal tells you without words — and feeling it relax after treatment.”
